Abstract
Abstract C-reactive protein is an inflammatory marker that is synthesized in the liver post tissue injury or infection.it can be positive in any infection either sever or not, but we found it to be strongly positive in sever bacterial infection.It helps us to consider the initiation of antibiotics in children especially those below one year of age.
