Abstract
An extensive nutrient indexing survey was conducted during December, 1995 to investigate the foliar nutrient contents of different maneo varieties. More than eight hundredIsaf samples of eleven mango varieties from t*n orchards Igfgtpd in differmt districts of the Punjab were collected. Leaves were analysed for N, P. K, Cu. Zn and Mn. Nitrogen contents of the leaf samples were low in all varieties and orchards. Phosphorus was marginally sufficient and potassium contents were found sufficient in all varieties and orchards. Nearly alt the varieties contained marginally sufficient concentration of Cu as only 10% leaf samples contamid Idw concentration. Zinc concentration was found to be marginally sufficient in most of the varieties. Whereas Mn was found low in most of the varieties with few cases of sufficient levels
