Abstract
Fifty cases, Army soldiers, with cutaneous leishmaniasis were observed during a survey carried out (1995-96) by a joint team of Armed Forces Medical College and Defence Science and Technology Organization .(DESTO),in different areas in the Province of Balochistan. Causes of prevalence as well as suggestive measures for prevention are also discussed
