Abstract
Lofgrensyndromeanacuteformofsarcoidosisconstituteserythemanodosum,bilateralhilaradenopathyandarthralgiaorarthritis.Herewepresentacaseofa28yearsoldyoungmalepatientwhoisashopkeeperandfarmerbyprofessionadmittedtoinpatientdepartmentwithchiefcomplaintsofbilateralpainfulnodulesonhisshins,lowgradefeverandpainmultiplejointsonbothsidesofthebody.SuspicionoftheLofgrensyndromewasmadeuponinitialevaluationandpatientwasadmittedtoinpatientcarefacilityfornecessarycomprehensiveworkup.RadiologicalfindingswereconsistentwithbilateralhilarlymphadenopathyandpatientwasdiagnosedwithLofgrensyndrome.Patientwasstartedonnon-steroidalinflammatorydrugs(NSAIDs)withcloseobservationforimprovementinresponsetotreatment.Afteroneweakoftreatmentinhospital,patientwasdischargedhomewhenhissymptomsstartedtoresolve.
