Abstract
There different variables that are associated with educational achievement and educational aspiration of the
university students. In the current study researcher intended to find out the role of socio-economic status of the
parents and its association with educational aspiration among university students. The research is based on the
quantitative methodology and survey research design. The sample size of the study is 459 respondents of the
University of the Punjab selected through multistage sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using SPSS and
the findings of the study suggest that there is a positive and significant relationship between socio-economic status
of the parents and educational aspiration among students.
