MODERATION AND EQUILIBRATION ARE THE BASIS OF ISLAMIC THOUGHTS

Abstract

The emphasis of the Prophetic teachings of Hazrat Mauhammad (PBUH) is on moderation in all aspects of life including belief system, society and an individual’s obligations and rights. If we concentrate on the cosmological system, we’ll come to know that this system merely depends on a certain Cosmogonic Equilibration. Eventually, the nature demands moderation and equilibration in our terrestrial life in order to establish a society on the basis of harmony. In this dissertation, the Islamic concept of moderation has been described that is related to all aspects of our terrestrial life including belief system, divine worships, lawful and unlawful acts, dietary restrictions, extravagance and religious obligations. A discussion has been made to reveal the fact that a society becomes biased and polarised if it’s not based on moderation in all aspects of terrestrial life.
