Abstract
Roohullab Khumani (R.A) was a Multi-dimensional personality i.e.
Revolutionary Leader, Politician. Religious Scholar, Social reformer etc. But one
aspect which hc kept secret in his life was his poetry. After his death his poetic
work, in which the form of”Ghazal” is most prominent was published. In this article
efforts have been made to explore the expertise of Imam Khumani regarding the art
of ghazal. Specially reviewing his poetic verses in the light of Persian legacy of
poetry.
