Abstract
Letters have been an effective medium of communication before the emergence of the present era of modern information technology. But at the same time, there has been a tradition of fake letter writing by some people in order to acheive their unlawful social and political objectives. In this article, the author has carried out a research based study of such ficticious letters in the light of history.
