Abstract
Shaheen Abbas is one of the repseentative poets of our
times. His work in modern Ghazal and Nazam is highly
acknowledged and appreciated. Urdu critics cannot ignore
his contribution in these genres. Now he has discovered his
new dimension in short story writing. His way of writing is
not traditional. His technique and treatment is entirely
unique. In this article the write has critically analyzed his
published as well as unpublished short stories.
