Abstract
Shams-ur-Rahman Farooqi is a great Urdu critic and
researcher at this time. Now he is also a Novelist of modern
age.He wrote a novel ''Kai Chand Thay Sar-eAasman''.Some deficiencies and shortcomings have been
found in this novel like, sumptuousness of detail, historical
research pattern, use of difficult words and
diction,exaggeration in less important matters and
somewhere extra details are found in this novel.This article
is an effort to point out the above said shortcomings and
deficiencies.
