Abstract
It is a sociolinguistic survey to know about the influence of
different regional languages on the local verities of the
dialects,especially on Haryanvi, Saraki / Multani, Punjabi,Urdu and
its Subdialects. This paper investigates and emphasis on the current
language of this historical city Multan and its regional dialects. It
also overview the social and cultural bindings to Haryanvi, Punjabi
and Siraiki's different accents.Whereas this research paper
investigates the geographical and linguistic background of different
regional dialects in Multan and traces the emergence of new
regional varieties of these languages with local dialects.
