Abstract
It is a fact, that there is that analytical and research work about Urdu Novel is
very rare, normally, critics work on Urdu Poetry or study analytically Short
Stories. Critics do this due to their apathy. Critique of Urdu Novel has two
major aspects: one is subjective peculiarity, the other is technical analysis. In
this thesis the reasons, why research and critique work is scarce in Urdu
Literature besides this academic tradition of the society, those have blocked the
means of research and critique also have been discussed.
