Abstract
Mehrgarh is one of the ancient settlements, which is situated in district
of Kachi (Bolani on ¡he fool hills of Balan river near Dahdar The ancient
sc’itkmcni is belonged to Neolithic period (7000BCE-2600BCE). The French
Archaeological team took part in the excavations of Mehrgarh under the
supervision Ql Jean Fransco Jarrige since ¡974 to 2000. ifier a long period,
the tcu,ii lias excavated seven periods of šÍehrgarh filO zinc1. The learn cOnCluclc
that the ancient people of Mehrgarh were i’ell advanced and developed. The
archaeological evidences of AÍehrgarh proves thai the inhabitants qf area liad
introduced first time village culiure network, Terraeoiia figurine (human and
animals), domestication of pl anis z’ i’he at, rice and barely) and animals
(waterhufiullo) in South Asia. Akh,,’arh had produced remains of denial surgery
