Abstract
The aim of this article is to describe the effects of
progressive movement in Pakistani Punjabi Dramas.
Pakistani Punjabi Dramatists do not only discuss struggle
of Punjabis against the British Rule in Subcontinent but
they have also enlighten injustice, backwardness, caste
system, feudalism, problems of early marriages, religious
exploitation and conspiracies in society. These dramas
show collective thematic political, economic and social
approach of Pakistani, especially Punjabi
