Abstract
Dr. Enver Sajjad is a physician, artist, kathak dancer, columnist, short story
writer, novelist and essayist. He played a constructive and pivotal role in the
development of art and performing art through Alhamra Arts Council Lahore.
Dr. Enver Sajjad was chairman of Alhamra Arts Council Lahore and during this
period he tried and succeeded to approve the model of present building of
Alhamra Arts Council Lahore. He also tried his best to improve the standard of
Urdu stage drama. He also introduced translated and self-writing modern Urdu
dramas. This article reveals an analytical study of three unpublished plays by Dr
Enver Sajjad that how he introduced many dimensions for development of
modern stage drama with reference to art and thought.
