Abstract
Dastan Amir Hamza, as a narrative, exists on two levels. One is mundane and
realistic, where Amir Hamza struggles against worldly enemies and moors
through a familiar world. The other is in which he goes to KohQaf to battle with
giants and ogres and becomes intimate with fairies. He also conquers tilisms
which are in themselves wonderlands inhabited by magicians and witches.
