Abstract
ShaukatSiddique has emerged as one of the prominent prose writer
since Pakistan came in to being. He started his writing carrier after the
independence of Indian Subcontinent in which he highlighted the new
urban problems of Pakistan. He is not only famous for his Novels but also
gained a lot of praise in Fiction story writing. In his fiction stories he wrote
about many problems including prejudice, exploitation, political
suffocation, imperialism and feudalism. In his realistic writings, he brought
forward the political and social evils. In his fiction writings, he has
collection of attractive stories based on victims' exploitation,and public
problems. Therefore, he is placed along with the ideological authors of
Progressive Writers Association.
