Abstract
Saadat Hassan Manto is a legendry personality in Urdu literature.
Manto produced an appreciable literary material particularly in the field of
Urdu Fiction. There are many published books, articles which cover many
aspects of his life and work. But a mentionable aspect of his life is "Manto as
a Journalist"is in darkness. Manto being a columnist of "daily Manshoor
Lahore. The owner of this daily was Nwasb Muzafar Hussain Qazlibash a
renowned Member of Republican party. Manto's four published columns in
daily 'Manshoor" are discovered and analyzed by the author of this article.
His Journalistic role or writings are still waiting for researchers.
