Abstract
Ghalib realized the perpetuality of death and it's relational
significance to man involving fear, oppression and unceasing fight against
death which is undefeatable and uncontrolable.The fear of annihilation
man's insignificance have made death one of the most celebrated debates in
literature.Basically,death is a philosophical concept discussed by every
religion and every school of thought .This article discusses the "Semitc"and
"non-semitc"religions, philosophy, mysticism, briefly along with the
multiconceptuatity of death in Urdu novel.
