Abstract
he current paper is aimed at reviewing the research on a partially ruined historic
building in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. For being in a remote area, deep in the Neelum
Valley (Kiśan Gaṇga of Nīlamata Purāna), the site is not well known among the scholars.
A few studies have been made on the worth of the building. This deductive model is posed
to explore the research potential of the building, the history of the region also placing it
on the table for comparisons within the epistemology of art historians
