Abstract
This article is the consequence of excavations by the Pakistan Heritage Society and University Of
Pennsylvania ar Käjirko,' North rhat resulted in the discovery and exploration Of an undocumented
temple (E) in rhar fort, and recovery Of an important seventh-century cult image broken in two
pieces. These were discussed in preliminary reports in The Pakistan Heritage Society Newslet-
ter (Khan e! al 1998), Expedition (Meister 2000), and the Lahore Museum Bulletin (Rehman
1998)_
