Abstract
"Persian language has always been a part of syllabus in colleges and universities from the beginning of Pakistan’s establishment. That is why not only poets but most of the poetesses also used Persian language for expressing their views and sentiments. In this way a numerous of female poets of Pakistan have contributed to the promotion of Persian language through their poetic works.
Zakia Behroz is one of these Persian poetesses of Pakistan. She belongs to the Hazara tribe in Baluchistan. Zakia Behroz has written a Persian dewan titled “Hanooz Der Safari” consisting 136 pages. The language of Zakieh Behrouz's poetry is very fascinating, intuitive, and simple. She uses similes and metaphors in her poetry in a beautiful manner. In this article various aspects of Zakia’s poetry such as theme, style and topics etc would be discussed.
