Abstract
The use of codes and symbols in the poetry of Tofegh
Zayyad
A symbol of Palestinian resistance literature, one of those
poets who have several layers of his poetic language and the
beauty of his work adds meaning and purpose to get the reader
faced with the joy of discovery activities. He among the poets,
using symbolism, creates beautiful pictures and original, codified
language of choice and sustainability concepts having more
richness. He using the contact symbol and motivation, leads to
more reflection on the strength of his life in keeping the people
alive. In this study, the authors have attempted to cross the way,
to reviewing and explaning the symbols used in his poems. There
is an additional inference from the findings of the common
meanings of symbols, with the creation of new concepts having
clear picture in their occupied homeland. The natural symbols are
most frequent in his poems. Concepts such as sustainability, rage,
rebellion, revolution, hope to win against the invaders are in there
many lyrics of the high frequency.
