Abstract
Social History has raised many new approaches to analyze the oppression and inequalities that woman have been facing for a very long time in the society. Ideology of Feminism was introduced actually to ensure the social, political, economic, religious, educational and professional parity of genders. This ideology has been manifested by many socio-political movements, organizations and institutions working for women rights and interests. Similarly the study of the history of woman's social status is, in fact, meant to accept the ferocious behavior of men towards women throughout ages. This article includes the study of woman's status in recorded history of the world with special reference to Dr. Mubarik Ali's writings.
