Shahnameh is not only one of the most glorious epic work of Persian literature but this book is also a work of moral advice for the readers because moral contents with epic stories are also included in this book. Ferdowsi was a genius person and his life was full of love, affection, good values and respect. He reflected the human emotions in his beloved heroic characters. Shahnameh is a treasure of wisdom, knowledge, and ethics. Ferdowsi takes philosophical and moral result of any joyful or sad events. The poet, whether on his own or by the opinion of others gives advice regarding fear of God to philosophers, kings and common people too. Language purity and chastity are the specific qualities of Ferdowsi and Shahnameh is the example that no obscene word is seen in this book. The present article is review of moral content and advice in the stories of Shahnameh.
