Implementation of International Humanitarian
Law is the responsibility of states signatory to the Geneva
Conventions (GC) of 1949 and Additional Protocols of
1977. As Islamic Republic of Pakistan is member to four
Geneva Conventions, therefore, this paper will consider
responsibility of Pakistan for the effective implementation
of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in this regard.
