The Holy Quran, the last divine source for guidance, emphasizes on the acquisition of
education. This book full of wisdom and understanding, laid the foundations of
knowledge. It encourages and supports the cause of human growth and advancement.
The time when this book was revealed, the inhabitants in the Arab territory, having
outstanding approach in literature were proud of their skills and termed the rest
world as” Ajam” the Persians or dumbs. The Holy Quran represents an
extraordinary and sophisticated example of Eloquence and Articulacy that left the
whole world in surprise. This position of the Holy Quran failed the Arab to bring the
words in contrast even though they were challenged many times.
There are many sides of eloquence narrated in the Holy Quran among them one is
"insinuations (Kenayat)."
Insinuation is the usage of words that intimate the comprehension between the lines,
not clearly mentioned.
In many places this style has been adopted in the Holy Quran which has been
described in this article. The examples along with their reasons of utilization have
been explained as well.
