We are going through an advanced era as compared to past. There exist numerous
nations bearing various communities and societies. They differ due to their lifestyle. In common,
no anyone is criminal by nature himself, but it is the surroundings which make him lead to such
an act. So, generally, societal behavior influences a lot in making anyone ill-mannered. The
reputation of the societies is ruined by various evils created by the humans themselves. Social
observers also think that crimes and evils are the outcome of society itself. When it comes in case
of others, so, it is also observed that if any subject is punished physically for the crime he
commits; many others get admonition. A society becomes good and prosperous when behavioral
and societal punishments are experienced with their full effects. The effectiveness of criminal
justice should be evaluated whereas; severity of punishment does not bear full certainty.
Psychological effect of punishment decreases intensity of violation in society. It also makes
others refrain from violating rules of law.
