Molana Muhammad TahirPanjpiri was born in Swabi in 1916.He followed the footsteps
of Shah Ismail Shaheed to fight against the forbidden practices in Islam.To expound the teaching
of Islam, he introduced a special and peculiar method.The teaching of Holy Quran (Dars e
Quran) was a significant source for his preaching of Islam.
This article presents the main features of his Dars e Quran. After a thorough study these features
have been bifurcated into three segments. The characteristics extractedfrom the religious
literature of Shah Waliullah is the first kind. The second is closely associated with the Dars e
Quran of MolanaUbaidullah Sindhi and MulanaHussain Ali.The third one is his self
achievement for the collection of the above scholarsmethod with addition.
This study focuses the above mentioned features of Molana Muhammad Tahir. However, in the
beginning of this research article historical background of Molana Muhammad Tahir’sDarse
Quran is highlighted. Besides this, the administrative aspects of his Dars e Quran are also
pinpointed. If the article about the works of Molana Muhammad Tahir is published this will be a
useful addition in the treasure of knowledge about the literature focusing Tafseer e Quran.
