For the success of any movement, it is necessary that it should have a political party and proletariat are following it in large number. The political scenario of Punjab from 1907 to 1937 depicts that Punjab Muslim League stood no ground of any significance in the Province. From 1922 to 1947, Unionist Party holds the sway in the Punjab politics. In the election of 1945-46, Muslim League gained significance, only when considerable number of Unionist Muslim members deceived Unionist Party and joined Punjab Muslim League. That was the water-shed period of the Punjab politics. The argument remains why they left Unionist Party. What changes have occurred that they changed their loyalties from one strong party to another party that was comparatively not strong? The communal factor cannot be underestimated. The Second World War factor and obvious changes that were indicated during war by British authorities need to be taken into consideration. Politics is a game of change, it moves with developments that occur around us. A politician's main objective is to guide his followers to safe shores with minimum harms. He must have the quality to foresee coming challenges, and prepare his/her followers before hand. The impact of pacts, economic changes, skirmishes and war, influences of world powers in certain areas determine future of nations. The people who have to survive in this unjust world have to be at their vigilance. Therefore, they and their protégée may survive with honour and dignity. After Second World War, number of changes occured in the world map, new states emerged and one of them was Pakistan. The Muslims of India desired to be free from the hegemony of Hindus, and Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah guided Muslims of India to their desired homeland
