Bhil Hindu Tribe of Cholistan is an ancient tribe of Rajasthan, once lived on the banks of the lost river Sarsvati, and their culture is the oldest surviving culture in the world. Cholistan offers tremendous opportunities for those seeking to gain a deeper understanding of its unique rich cultural heritage. Ceramic evidences provided by the world's known archeologist from more then 500 sites of this region indicate that around 400 B.C. this area was a cradle of civilization. Thus in cultural advancement it can be compared with the Harappan civilization. However, no attempt has yet been made to highlight an ancient culture of this region. The present article aimed at studying the cultural anthropology of Bhil Hindu Tribe of Cholistan. This article is based mainly upon observations, group discussions and interviews of Bhil representatives. The article has been classified into three sections: Rituals, Religion and Culture.
