تلخیص
The present literary scenario of Urdu criticism introduces so many new literary
approaches and disciplines in the modern era of globalization. All these
approaches carry their social and cultural perspectives which provide help to
understand these prevalent phenomena. Besides Structralism, Post structuralism
,Modernism, Postmodernism, Deconstruction and Feminism there is also a
Literary Theory, which provides us a special and new way to understand a piece
of literature in which the reader plays a very important role to recreate the text
and generate new meanings at his own. Such type of Reader Response Theory
totally ignores the author and has no concern with the cultural perspective of
that text. It looks that this theory creates new dynamics in criticism but
practically its misleading approach, especially, in our eastern perspective. All
literary interpretations draw on a basis in theory but can serve as a justification
for very different kinds of critical activity. In the present essay, I discussed at
length its fall out in Urdu language and literature.
