"Pir -o- Mureed" In Iqbal's Handwriting

Abstract
The elements of iqbal's spiritual and intellectual attachment to Maulana Rumi are evident in iqbal's persian poetry which have been less manifested in his urdu poetry. This article brings forth written manuscript of iqbal's more impotant poem "peer o murshid" taken from iqbal's personal diary. Written manuscripts are of basic import in research. Besides this affinity and attachment, this loem revolves around its contemporary question and answers. The essayist presented the text of hand written poem by iqbal and paved the way for its comparison and analysis in juxtaposition with the printed poem.
