Techniques and Principles of Minutes Writing of a Meeting in Sindhi
Abstract
The recording or taking ‘The Minutes of meeting' is basically an
art in itself. This discipline, definitely, follows some particular techniques
and principles .It is a historic fact that most of the British colonized
communities got almost all the disciplines of official writings and their
related techniques from the English language. Therefore, the art of
recording minutes and its techniques and set principles in English were
copied by these bi-lingual British colonial communities for local official
language. The developing countries not only adopted the techniques and
principles but also implemented the same after interpreting according to
their own linguistic requirements. Hence, the transmission and spread of
knowledge among different languages go on indefinitely. Similarly, we
have also been recording the minutes of meetings in Sindhi language by
adopting the criteria and rules described in English language and
followed in the British India and later our newly independent country
Pakistan. In this paper, an attempt has been made to explain the
techniques and principles of writing the minutes of meeting in Sindhi
Language .
