Abstract
There are two major kinds of ahkam. The first one is the ahkam which are undoubted, authentic and without any contradiction with any verse or hadith. Going against these ahkam is termed as Ifteraq (sectarianism). Ifteraq has no space in Islam. The second one is the ahkam which may be doubted in their proof, meaning and there may be doubts due to apparent contradictory verse or hadith. In Islam, there is a room for debate on these ahkam which is termed as Ikhtelaf. There are many sources of Ifteraq (sectarianism). Some of which belong to the education system, politics, politicians and the other to economic and social manners. Ifteraq mainly contains the degradation of personalities and places which are sacred for the followers of other school of thoughts. There are many verses and ahadiths which forbid doing Ifteraq rather Muslims are ordered to remain with jamat. We can handle the issue of Ifteraq (sectarianism) by following and implementing the teachings of Quran and Sunnah regarding Ifteraq. All Stack holders may play their roll to stop the sectarianism
