Divine Ethical Code of Conduct for the Pluralistic Society

Abstract
This article analyses, compares and traces the common ethical values in the divine religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) to develop interfaith and social harmony among their followers in a pluralistic society. Social behaviour, relations and affairs are mostly based on moral values. In fact all divine religions have uniform ethical values due to having same origin and fountainhead. All divine religions comprise of three heads, beliefs, ethics and shariah. The first two heads belief and ethics are same in all divine religions whereas the shariah varies according to the demands of time, space, age and the nations. The present move towards globalization demands to establish interfaith and social harmony on the basis of common terms and ethical values. It will pave the way to make foriegn policies friendly and provide an environment to establish peaceful relations among the internationation communities. It will enable us to eradicate abhor, discriminations, differences and chaos based on race, color, religion, language and nationality, from the pluralistic society. The Quran also directs the Muslims to establish relations with the followers of the divine scriptures on the basis of common terms (Al-Quran 3:64). This article presents a uniform ethical code of conduct for the multi-cultural pluralistic society.
