Abstract
The theme of the article is to know and understand the contribution of those Pashto poets, writers and literary figures who were settled in Karachi. Karachi is called "Mini Pakistan" due to its diverse ethnic composition. Apart from other ethnic groups, there are considerable number of Pakhtun living in Karachi. Among them there are people who largely contributed in the progress and development of Pashto literature and poetry. They established various organizations and started publishing and propagating magazines in Pashto language. The article discusses their contribution in historical and analytical perspectives. The role of Hamza Shinwar, Tahir Afridi, Fahim Sarhadi, Roshan Khan and many other writers have been discussed in this contexts. Likewise the establishment of literary organizations, its contribution to the Pashto literature are thoroughly analyzed
