Abstract
The focus of this study is on the employment growth in relation to number of previous start-ups, entrepreneur’s environmental scanning, age of entrepreneur, education, experience, and business life. The research takes into account 131 Small and Medium-size Enterprises (SMEs) from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, in order to analyze the correlation of employment growth. The SMEs were visited randomly to get the quantitative data from the entrepreneurs. The paper applies statistical tools on the information received and analyzes the results owing to the employment growth. The results of the study suggest that entrepreneurs total year of experience, entrepreneur’s environmental scanning and age of entrepreneur has significantly strong relationship with employment growth.
