Abstract
The unity of Muslims in all the affairs is required and liked one. But, the unity on agreement of Muslim Ummah on one day of Eid and Ramadan is making castles in the sky. This required unity didn’t happen since the inception of Islam. Practically, there is no example of this unity in history. According to Hanafi Scholars who give weightage to the place of rise of moon, the agreement of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in this regard is impossible. Because the distance between these two countries is extended one and that’s why the moon sighting in one country cannot be considered in another. But according to those Scholars, who don’t consider the sighting place of moon, the application of sighting is possible but nowadays it is not night under Sharia hanafic principles. Because according to them sighting holds weightage along with certain conditions. But nowadays these conditions do not-existing
