Abstract
Allah (SWT) selected the group of the companions of the
Holy Prophet for the help and preservation of Islam.
Their lives were copied of the life of the Holy Prophet
(SAW). The main objective of their lives was to follow the
commandments of Allah through the path of the Holy
Prophet (SAW), i.e., Sunnah which in other words is
called Islam. They focused on the practice of Islam for the
betterment of the world and hereafter. In the Holy Quran,
All-mighty Allah mentioned these companions of the
Holy Prophet (SAW) repeatedly. He praised them and,i.e.,
believes and presented their beliefs as a model for the rest
of the world. All the Muslims agree about their best
character, but unfortunately, a part of the Muslims
targeted their lives due to some weak and fabricated
narrations which exist in the Islamic literature. Some of
the exegesis narrated these narrations under verses
number [75, 76], and [77] of Sura Tauba. They targeted
one of the companions of the Holy Prophet (SAW)
Tha’laba Ibn Hātib (R.A) and called him a hypocrite. This
article discusses these narrations and their position in the
literature of Islamic Studies. al-Tabarī [d. 310/923]
narrated a narration in the background of Sura Tauba.
This narration is narrated in different ways, and by
different people, all these styles are coated. Later on
