Abstract
The land of South Asia has always been a center of various military expeditions and invaders. That's why it absorbed the variegated effects of diverse cultures and religious paradigms. Political movements and social behaviours are an essential part of the making of a civilization, so is the case with the combined culture that shows a vast panorama of diversity in its living style, civic sense, religious and moral beliefs, customs, arts, architecture, thoughts and ideologies. This cultural journey led to a change into its customary ways due to the arrival of the British in the subcontinent though some of the individual traits of Islamic Civilization remained intact, during their process of absorption and acceptance. What were the ideas and thoughts of sir Syed during this time of history when different cultures were amalgamating each other and how his rational thinking was different from the set pattern of the day. This analysis will be made in the following pages in the light of Sir Syed's articles.
