Abstract
Translation is an important linguistic activity which may bring two different kinds of civilizations nearer to each other. There has been a rich tradition of translation works in urdu literature. It covers both fields of literature i.e poetry and prose. In this article the urdu translations of those novels have been analysed which have been translated from different foreign languages.
