Abstract
Wring of Comic column in Urdu is in vogue since a century.
Urdu Journalism is blessed with famous writes from the very
beginning. Who by their utmost skill widen its sprit. In Urdu
the writing of comic column are pioneered by Mulana Zafar
Ali Khan, Abdul Majeed Salik, Ibarahim Jalees, Chargh
Hassan Hasrat, Abdul Majeed Lahori etc. The writers of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also wrote comic columns. In comic
columns the writers have explored, the prevalent, politics,
social, cultural and economic aspects in the most
characteristic manners. The subject under consideration the
comic columns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and have been
concisely and in candid manner evaluated.
