Abstract
Literature cannot be alienated from society and life. Pakistan
is suffering from terrorism since last two decades. It is the
fruit of fundamentalism. Pakistani writers felt this situation by
heart. They have represented different aspects of terrorism
which really destroying the life of Pakistani People.
Muhammad Ilyas in his gigantic novels presented the
fundamentalist forces, their system and the characters which
support this approach. In this article the representation of
fundamentalism and terrorism in his novels is analyzed.
Through the analysis of the ideas and characters presented in
his novels it is tried to understand the situation of
contemporary Pakistan.
