Abstract
Rashíd Akhter Nadvi is a popular Urdu novelist famous for his historical novels. He started as a romantic novelist but soon after his first few novels he shifted his priorities towards history. He wrote a number of novels about history of Muslims. His last novel named “Uljhi Rahen” is again a romantic novel. In this article the researcher has discussed critically that Rashid Akhter Nadvi is basically a romantic novelist and study of his novels cannot be comprehensive without discussing his romantic novels.
