Abstract
Manto is acknowledged as one of the famous literary figures in Urdu literature.
His essay, "Impact of French Revolution on Art" which could not be published
due to unknown reasons, was explored in an Indian literary manager, October
1935.
This essay candidly reveals Manto's keen interest in the literary translations plus
his intellectual evolution. It also shows Manto's creative flow and how far is
important, affiliation with the attachment with literature and literary discourse
for the intellectual development of a writer.
