Abstract
Iqbal is a philosopher poet. it would be better to say that he is the first great poet
of the east who included critical thinking in his poetry.
In his poetry along with, Quran, Hadith and Sunnah, the Islamic History,
philosophy of the east and the west and the theories of different scholars are
reflecting themselves. some critics have pointed some similarities between Iqbal
and Nietzsche and blamed that Iqbal has borrowed the concept of
"Mard-e-Momin" from Nietzsche's superman but this is not completely
justifiable. Iqbal'sMard-e-Momin is a complete picture of beautiful and spiritual
values while Nietzsche's superman get its form from passionate power and
aetheism. In this article, it has been tried that the comparative analysis of Iqbal
and Nietche has been evaluated in a critical way and the ambiguity has been
traced out.
