Abstract
Ishq (immortal love), is considered as an important topic among the
topics of world literature. All poets and writers of the world have adorned
their writings with different aspects of Ishq. Some authors wrote about
Divine love and some about worldly love. Some analysed and compared
Ishq and wisdom and determined the place of both. Likewise, some authors
have described lover's misery and patience and lover's liking for
annihilation. In this article similarities of the thoughts of Hazrat Sultan
Bahu(RH) regarding various aspects of Ishq, have been discussed and
analyzed.
