Abstract
The literary culture of Government College, Lahore had left deep in
print on the grooming of Muzaffar Ali Syed. He was appointed Editor of the
literary magazine of the Government College 'TheRavi' in 1950-52 and
wrote several editorials and literary articles on contemporary literary trends
during that period. In 1950-52 the literary landscape was changed of for
numerous changes. His critical writings penned down in those day's
chronicle the literary history of those days and reflect the evolution of his
mind scape. This paper projects the formative phase of Muzaffar Ali Syed as
critic.
