Abstract
Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali was trendsetter Urdu poet and critic . He
is also one of the most well-regarded biographer of Sir syed's life, and a
commentator of his multidimensional work. To Hali also goes the credit of
being the first to introduce the genre of biography in Urdu and all in total
he authored three biographies. In Hiyat e Javaid Molana Hali paid tribute to
Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. This paper deals with the psychoanalysis of Molana
Hali by findings some facts regarding Hlai's concept of Father Figure. In
Hiyat e Javaid Molana Hali resolved his fixation regarding the early death
of his own father.
